単にThe Wren《ミソサザイ》というタイトルで呼ばれることもある。The Wren In The Furze《ハリエニシダの中のミソサザイ》と同じく、冬の王であるミソサザイを殺し、その死体を装わせて家々を巡り、「Please To See The King（王様にご挨拶を）」と言いながら喜捨を要求する際のキャロル。ミソサザイを連れてくるために、銃を持ち、垣根や柵を越えて追いかけ回すわけである。
